Privacy Policy
Effective date: 7 October 2026
Who we are and what this policy covers
Clover is operated by Nikita Samutin (ნიკიტა სამუტინ), an individual entrepreneur registered in Georgia. We are responsible for the personal data processing described in this policy. Contact: hello@myclover.health.
Clover has not launched publicly; it is in private alpha testing. This policy covers this website and correspondence with us, including requests to join the private alpha. The website does not let you upload health records, use AI features or download the app. Sending a request does not guarantee an invitation.
Visiting the website
We host this static website on a Hetzner VPS in Helsinki, Finland. To deliver a page, the server receives technical connection information, including your IP address and the requested URL. We do not use cookies, advertising, visitor analytics, tracking pixels or browser storage on this website. Fonts and images are served from our own website.
Routine website access logs are not retained. Technical operational or security logs may be generated when errors or security events occur. We use them only to maintain and protect the website, and keep them for as long as needed to investigate and resolve the issue, subject to server log rotation. Hosting infrastructure may also process connection information under its own service terms. See Hetzner’s privacy information.
Email and requests to join testing
If you email us, we receive your email address, any name you provide, your message and its attachments. We use this information to answer your inquiry, consider your request and communicate with you about that request. Sending an email is voluntary; you may browse the website without contacting us.
Please do not send health records or other sensitive personal information with a testing request. If you send such information accidentally, contact us so we can arrange its deletion. The private alpha is open only to adults aged 18 or over using their own health records.
Email to our domain is forwarded by Porkbun to our Gmail inbox. Porkbun and Google therefore handle the correspondence to provide these services. These are US-based services, and email may be processed outside Georgia and the European Economic Area. See Porkbun’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy for their processing practices.
We delete routine inquiries and testing-request correspondence within six months after the correspondence ends, unless a legal obligation or a specific legal claim requires us to retain particular information longer. If you join the alpha, we explain how tester data is handled before you start testing. We do not add you to a marketing mailing list just because you contact us.
Why we process this information
We process inquiries to consider and respond to a request you submit. We process necessary technical information to deliver and secure the website. Where the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries and running a secure website, balanced against your rights. Under Georgian law, the corresponding grounds are reviewing a submitted request and protecting legitimate interests. We do not treat a testing request as consent to process health records or send them to AI services.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us to remove your testing request or stop replying at any time. Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or receive a copy of your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and complain to the State Audit Office of Georgia or another competent supervisory authority, depending on the law that applies. Email hello@myclover.health with your request. We may need proportionate information to verify that the request concerns your data; please do not send identity documents unless we explain why they are needed.
We will respond within the time required by the applicable law. If information must be retained for a legal obligation or claim, we will explain that limitation. Rights requests concern information we actually hold; we do not maintain health records through this website.
App and AI features
Clover is an iPhone app for organizing and searching your own health records. Depending on the feature you choose, the app may handle document images and PDFs, extracted health information, messages, conversation context, profile information you enter and dictated audio.
AI features may send the information needed for your request to third-party providers of AI processing services for document processing, searching and answering questions about your records, summaries, translations or audio transcription. Different features may use different providers, and providers may change over time. This website does not send your correspondence to an AI provider.
The app is designed to keep records on your device without a Clover cloud account. AI processing can involve copies held by a provider, and device backups may contain copies too. Deleting local data does not necessarily erase provider-held copies or backups. The current app requests deletion of uploaded files after processing; deletion can be delayed or fail, and separate retention rules may apply to requests and responses.
Before you add real health records as an alpha tester, we provide the applicable app privacy information, including the actual recipients or sufficiently specific categories, processing locations, legal basis and transfer arrangements, retention and training terms, deletion options and how to give or withdraw any required permission. We identify specific processors where required by law. This website policy does not itself give that permission.
Alpha testing through Apple TestFlight also involves Apple’s processing of tester, device, usage, crash and feedback data. See TestFlight & Privacy. Clover is not intended to provide new treatment recommendations, diagnose or treat conditions, or replace a doctor. AI can be wrong; check important details against the original records and with your doctor.
Changes and contact
We will update this page when our data handling changes and show the new effective date. If a change materially affects existing correspondence or testers, we will explain it through an appropriate channel before the changed processing begins.
